Sunlight of the Spirit
Sunlight of the spirit was my inspiration for this artwork.
Sunlight of the spirit refers to a state of being that occurs when I am free from my resentments. The joy and energy in this artwork reflects that state of being.
Resentments are sometimes referred to as the re-feeling of an experience. Put another way, it is when I continue to have feelings about situations or people that are not occurring in the present moment. They are in the past and I have not come to accept them.
The process of writing an inventory is something I do often and is a tool I use to get present with all the ways that I am not fully living in the present. It is through this process that I can become the sunlight of the spirit.
